Simon Jones – Director
Simon Jones is an experienced marine engineer and marine surveyor with a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Motorships). After sailing on containerships he found his dream job surveying ships and oil rigs for two major classification societies and for the last 24 years has carried out many types of surveys on different types of vessels and offshore installations. Not only has he worked in the UK, but throughout West and South Africa and also the Caspian Region.
His surveying experience includes Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODUs), Floating Production Storage and Offloading Units (FPSOs), tankers, bulk carriers, offshore supply vessels, containerships etc.
Glenn Coulthurst – Director
Glenn Coulthurst trained as a Marine Engineer and, over the past 40+ years, has gained extensive experience and knowledge in the marine and offshore industry. He holds a UK Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Motorships) and has sailed on numerous types of vessels including general cargo ships, tankers and bulk carriers up to the rank of Chief Engineer. After deciding to come ashore he became a Technical Superintendent with a large oil company and then a Consultant.
He has worked for two major Classification Societies holding positions in both Europe and Africa and for the last 15 years has surveyed all kinds of vessels and offshore installations throughout Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
